Profit Pack: Food Cost app · iPhone
Privacy policy
Recipes, photos, menu item names, costs and prices are stored locally on this device. They are not sent to Profit Pack analytics. A summary leaves the app only when you deliberately share it through the iPhone system menu. The full rules follow.
1. Scope
This policy covers the Profit Pack: Food Cost mobile app for iPhone (the App). The profitpack.pl website has its own privacy policy at profitpack.pl/dokumenty (Polish).
2. Data controller
The data controller is NIE PRZELEWKI Sp. z o.o. (registration details below). Contact for data matters: kontakt@nieprzelewki.pl.
3. What data the App processes and where
- Recipes, photos, item names, costs, prices, weekly sales and settings (currency, tax, food cost target, language). Stored only in a local database on your device. We have no access to them; they are not sent to our servers or to any cloud. You delete them by removing recipes in the App or uninstalling the App.
- Pro purchase status. Purchases and subscriptions are handled by Apple In-App Purchase. To confirm an active plan the App uses RevenueCat, which receives an anonymous installation identifier and transaction details passed on by Apple (e.g. product identifier, renewal date). We do not receive your name, e-mail address or card details; only Apple holds those.
- Crash reports (Sentry). When the App crashes, a technical report is sent: device model, OS and App version, error trace. Reports contain no recipe content, prices, photos or data identifying you. Session replay and performance tracing are disabled.
- Optional product analytics. Off by default. If you enable it in Settings, the App sends only event names from a closed allowlist (e.g. "recipe created", "menu analysis opened"), never recipe names, costs, prices or photos. You withdraw consent at any time with the same switch.
- Sharing a summary. A text summary of a recipe leaves the App only when you choose to send it through the iPhone share sheet (Mail, Messages and others). You pick the recipient and channel; Profit Pack has no access to that message.
4. Legal basis
- Pro purchase and purchase restore: performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
- Crash reports and optional analytics: our legitimate interest in keeping the App stable and improving it (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR); analytics additionally only after you enable it in Settings.
- Recipe data stored locally is not processed by us; it remains under your sole control.
5. Recipients
- Apple Inc. and Apple Distribution International Ltd. (App Store, In-App Purchase) under Apple's terms.
- RevenueCat, Inc. (subscription status) as our processor.
- Functional Software, Inc. (Sentry) (crash reports) as our processor.
- We do not sell data or share it with other parties for marketing. The providers above may process data outside the EEA under the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.
6. Retention
- Local data: until you delete it or uninstall the App.
- Subscription data in RevenueCat: for the life of the subscription plus the period required for accounting and complaints, no longer than 5 years after the last transaction.
- Crash reports: up to 90 days.
- Analytics events (if enabled): up to 12 months in aggregated form.
7. Your rights
- You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, data portability and objection to processing based on legitimate interest. You may also lodge a complaint with the Polish supervisory authority (Prezes Urzędu Ochrony Danych Osobowych, ul. Stawki 2, 00-193 Warsaw) or your local authority.
- Send requests to kontakt@nieprzelewki.pl. We reply without undue delay and within one month. Because recipe data exists only on your device, you manage it yourself in the App.
8. Children
The App is a business tool and is not intended for persons under 16.
9. Changes
We will announce material changes in the App or on this page. The date of the current version is shown below.
